An encounter with nature and the underwater world of the Region Discover the underwater world of the Region of Murcia, the extraordinary diversity of its seabed, the history of the great shipwrecks of Cabo de Palos, the formation of Mar Menor, and the reproduction of seahorses in the aquarium. The Center is located near the harbour, the starting point of Reserva Marina de las Islas Hormigas. It shows the diversity and richness of the coast of Murcia and, especially, of Cabo de Palos, one of the most extraordinary oceanographic Mediterranean enclaves. Visitors can enjoy a visual walk of five themed areas through the extraordinary nature of the Region of Murcia, as well as a large model of the geographical details of the Region. The history of the great shipwrecks of Cabo de Palos, like the famous SS Sirio, the formation of La Manga, and the seahorses in the aquarium are all other attractions of the visit, which ends with the video “Cabo de Palos, un mar de vida”.

Located at the entrance to La Manga, the Museo Fundación Boyer Tresaco exhibits the work of this atypical artist, who in his life process went from being an auditor to moving away from the world, confined to a monastery, and finally dedicating himself to art. The foundation is a binomial between art and social project, and thus the room exhibits his work from the SIN series, in which homeless people completed the artist's work with phrases and reflections on the meaning of existence. It is also completed with works by other important figures in contemporary art, such as his collection of original works by Andy Warhol.
