The Casa de la Cultura is a building that was inaugurated on 15th May 1987 and consists of an assembly hall on the ground floor, a library, an office and a meeting room on the first floor. The first floor is ceded to the Department of Education. A space is given over to exhibitions in the hall and on the first floor.

Located in the municipality of Mazarrón, 17.3 miles from the Águilas marina, 0.7 miles from the Port of Mazarrón and 15.8 miles from the port of Cartagena. The marina lies in the eastern part of el Cabezo de la Reya, from which juts an inverted L-shaped breakwater ending in a hammerhead; a 143m coastal pier, parallel to the main quay, protects the marina interior. At the NE end of the quay is a dry-dock ramp.
